It disgusts me. Why is it okay, and even encouraged, for youth to be so materialistic and shallow and reckless? Shows like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom, hell, EVERYTHING on MTV seem to promote nothing good. I have yet to find any redeeming quality on anything that MTV shows. And I hate the celebrity bullshit.
Why do people want me to care about what Beyonce names her kid or who those despicable Kardashians marry?
Why does it have to be more impressive that you can blackout at a party rather than read a classic book?
Or am I just being a snobbish bitch for wanting people to be more intellectual and less rude/gross/stupid?
Just stuff that’s been muddling about in my brain recently… and it’s much more intense there. This stuff legitimately pisses me off. I wish I didn’t care so much about how other people act. -_-
